Today, KIND and 28 other organizations sent a letter requesting the State Department, USAID and the Department of Homeland Security provide additional humanitarian relief to the Central American countries devastated by back-to-back hurricanes, Eta and Iota, last month. In addition to life-saving funding for food, shelter, and recovery, the U.S. must stop sending immigrant children and families back to a natural disaster during a global pandemic.
