On behalf of 23 legal services organizations that serve unaccompanied children, KIND submitted a letter to the Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General requesting a formal investigation into the Executive Office for Immigration Review’s (EOIR) failure to suspend proceedings for detained unaccompanied children in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
