KIND’s Baltimore office serves child clients primarily from El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras – countries with some of the highest murder rates in the world. Consequently, all of KIND’s Baltimore clients are grappling with varying forms of trauma, creating an intense demand for counseling and other psychosocial supports. Fortunately, in addition to providing immigrant and refugee children with expert legal representation through its network of pro bono attorneys, law firms, law schools and corporate legal departments, KIND provides access to critical social services.
