In response to the end of Title 42, the U.S. government implemented a series of new immigration measures, Circumvention of Legal Pathways, that negatively impact migrants at the U.S-Mexico border. Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) is deeply concerned about the increased risks these policies pose, on children and adolescents including the potential for family separation and unsafe waiting conditions.
To mitigate these risks and safeguard the well-being of children and adolescents, KIND urgently calls upon the government of Mexico to implement actions that will ensure the protection of migrant children and adolescent.
