Washington, DC

KIND is thrilled to launch the new year with a new, more vibrant and accessible website that features our expanding work to help children as they migrate in search of safety.

KIND is embracing a bigger, bolder vision of child protection that encompasses both domestic and international concerns that is reflected in our new website. While deepening and expanding our provision of representation and access to social services to children alone in the United States, we are also promoting protection for unaccompanied and separated children in Europe, Central America and Mexico. The international protection system is at risk and we are working closely with the global community—policymakers, the private sector, international organizations, and the nongovernmental organization community-- to support protection of all children on the move.

KIND President, Wendy Young

The new site will launch January 6, 2020. Visitors will find more easily navigable information about the KIND’s work.  The site also includes a new resource library to facilitate searches for KIND’s reports, policy briefs, public comments, and other comprehensive information about unaccompanied children that can also be shared more readily on social media.
