Seeking Safety, Creating Change

KIND Client Art Exhibit

KIND's art exhibit, Seeking Safety, Creating Change, features drawings, paintings, and prints by KIND clients and offers a glimpse into their migration journeys toward freedom from fear. KIND shares these important works with a wide range of audiences as a national traveling exhibition to showcase our clients’ talents and to promote understanding of unaccompanied children, their need for protection, and their contributions to our communities.

From the Artists

" It’s what you can’t talk about, you convey it in the painting. "

"My style of art is a little different, it’s very much my own. And in each work there is something new, new feelings and new experiences."

"Art is very nice. Sometimes you don’t know what to draw but then suddenly you have finished, and the drawing is already on paper."
