KIND Submission: Children’s Access to Justice and Effective Remedies

Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) welcomes the opportunity to support the Committee on the Rights of the Child in its efforts to develop a General Comment No. 27 on Children’s Rights to Access to Justice and Effective Remedies. This submission focuses on the right of children to universal legal aid in all procedures that affect them, building on KIND’s experience and expertise working with unaccompanied and separated children.
