First Year of the Family Reunification Task Force: Progress and Promise

It has been one year since the Biden Administration created the Family Reunification Task Force to find parents still separated from their children under the previous Administration’s Zero Tolerance policy. More than 100 families have been reunified thanks to the efforts of the Task Force and hundreds more are in the reunification process. Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) has worked to advance the Task Force’s mission and is at the forefront of reuniting families and helping separated children find a path to safety.
