Power of the Pro-Bono Network:
A New Way to Make a Difference

Since 2008, KIND and our pro bono partners have stood united in unwavering support of the courageous children we serve. As we reflect on the tremendous impact showcased at our annual gala over the years, we also recognize that current immigration policies, coupled with decreased federal support, will create a spike in demand for KIND’s legal services. In order to ensure that critical funds raised provide direct support for unaccompanied children, we have decided to forgo holding an in-person gala in 2025. Making this choice will allow us to save the costs associated with this event and reallocate funds to provide direct services to kids on the move.

Though we will not gather in person, celebrating the work that our supporters and pro bono partners do is essential. To our partners: thank you for your commitment, energy, and generosity—KIND could not fulfill our mission without you.

Congress can restore key protections for children lost due to the elimination of federal funding. Join us in urging lawmakers fully restore legal services for unaccompanied children through robust funding of the FY 2026 appropriations package for the Office of Refugee Resettlement.
