Are you a child returning home to Guatemala or Honduras after being in the United States or Mexico?

If you traveled without your parents or were separated from them during the journey, we may be able to help you.

  1. Who will meet me when I arrive?
  2. Where will I live after I return?
  3. Who will help me after my return?
  4. What will it be like to live with my family again?
  5. Where will I go to school?
  6. How will I find work?
  • Assistance at the airport or reception center
  • Family reunification support
  • Psychosocial support for the entire family
  • Access to health care and medical services
  • Access to Education and job skills training
  • Youth and community workshops and programs

Services are available in various languages including Mayan languages such as Mam, Quiche, Ixil, Q’anjob’al.

Talk to your attorney, case manager, or other people you trust to help you decide if this program is right for you.

  • You are 22 years if age or younger, if you entered the United States or Mexico as a minor
  • If you are returning to the following countries and areas you may be eligible:
    • Guatemala: Huehuetenango, Quetzaltenango, Quiche, Sololá, Totonicapán, and other places on a case-by-case basis.
    • Honduras: Cortes, Yoro, Santa Barbara, Tegucigalpa, and other places on a case by case basis.
