Spotlight on KIND’s corporate partners

Since its founding, KIND has worked closely with corporate legal departments to ensure the representation of children in their immigration proceedings. Through KIND’s Spotlight on Corporate Partnerships campaign, we highlight the incredible work of in-house counsel on behalf of the unaccompanied immigrant children.
At this critical time, we call on lawyers from corporations to ensure that no child stands in immigration court alone.  More now than ever, unaccompanied children need in-house counsel to take cases or partner with law firms on cases to ensure vulnerable children have access to due process.

What our partners are saying:

The Walt Disney Company

“We at The Walt Disney Company are exceedingly proud to represent so many vulnerable children in United States immigration courts who are fleeing violation situations in their Central American home countries.  KIND has provided our in-house lawyers with superb support and training, and we are deeply and humbly grateful for KIND’s guidance in California and New York.  With KIND’s instruction, we have been able to develop the expertise to assist scores of children seeking to obtain their green cards – and thus secure the safe residence they so justly deserve.  Heartfelt thanks to all of KIND’s wonderful staff of professionals.  We at The Walt Disney Company are indebted to you.” – Karen Frederiksen, Associate General Counsel, The Walt Disney Company
