KIND Boston Happy Hour Fundraiser

Boston Fundraiser: A Huge Success!

Thank you to all the KIND friends and supporters who joined us for happy hour at McGreevy’s!

We raised over $1,200 in total, including $300 for KIND Houston’s Emergency Fund, specifically to benefit clients affected by Hurricane Harvey. This will make an immense impact on the lives of our clients through our Emergency Fund. The Emergency Fund is used to help families cover emergency and unexpected expenses that arise during the course of the child’s legal case.

We want to extend a special thank you to our guest bartenders:

Brandon Clippinger (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts), Alex Mancebo (Jones Day), Chris Liedl (Ropes & Gray),  Jed Ruccio (McCarter & English), Jenny Rikoski (Ropes & Gray), Julio Del Olmo (Del Olmo Law), Tim Cook (Cooley) and Val Imparato (Nutter McClennan & Fish).

The night would not have been possible without the generosity of McGreevy’s, which donated 10% of proceeds from the evening to KIND.

Our raffle would not have been possible without generous donations from the Boston Red Sox, StudioU, The Institute of Contemporary Art (ICE), Charles River Canoe and Kayak, Bostonia Public House. And special thanks to Beth Raucci for volunteering her time and photography skills!

“I recommend taking a KIND case because it makes a real impact.  The clients are amazing people who have gone through a lot at a young age, and as an attorney you have an opportunity to walk alongside someone  and truly make a difference in their life.  It is also an excellent way to take leadership and ownership of a case, from start to finish, and to hone your advocacy skills.”
