2025 PBA Honorees

2025 Pro Bono Award Honorees

Each year during National Pro Bono Week, Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) proudly recognizes the exceptional dedication and compassion of our pro bono partners across the country. These attorneys, law firms, and volunteers go above and beyond to ensure that unaccompanied and separated children seeking safety in the United States are met with care, dignity, and expert legal representation.

Our 2025 Pro Bono Award honorees exemplify the very best of what it means to serve. Through countless hours of pro bono work, they have helped children find safety, reunite with loved ones, and build brighter futures. Their tireless advocacy reminds us that when we come together in defense of children’s rights, we can transform lives.

This year, each of KIND’s field offices has selected outstanding partners for recognition — individuals and teams whose extraordinary efforts have made a meaningful impact on the lives of their clients and their communities. From case victories to compassionate mentorship of new volunteers, these honorees embody KIND’s mission every day.

Together, these honorees have helped shape a more just and compassionate immigration system for children. Their generosity and expertise light the way toward a world where every child’s rights are protected.  We extend our deepest gratitude to each of our 2025 award recipients for their unwavering commitment to justice and to the children we serve.
